Gincker Finance is a powerful technical analysis tool for individual traders and investors. It includes various free market data APIs, stock charts, over 50 technical indicators, over 30 predefined trading strategies, and an easy-to-use backtesting system. It also consists of a variety of pricing engines for evaluating equity options and fixed income instruments. Gincker Finance allows you to perform various technical analysis in quantitative finance.

The platform then automatically creates the stock charts and technical indicators, or backtest your trading strategies and display the corresponding results graphically on your screen. The technical analysis on Gincker Finance uses the same interface as that used in templates for charts and graphics.
  • Market Data APIs and Stock Charts: Market data in finance is the most important part of any successful trading business. Regardless you are a quant analyst, quant developer, trader, or independent investor, you always have to deal with market data. Gincker Finance implements various interfaces that allow allow you to easily access some popular free data sources, including Yahoo Finance, Alpha Vantage API, Tiingo, FinnHub, Stooq, and Markit. These free market data APIs usually provide the end-of-day (EOD) market data for stocks, currencies, and fixed-income instruments. You may also access the real-time stock quotes as well as the historical intraday bar data. With the historical EOD or intraday bar data from these free market data APIs, Gincker Finance allows you to create interactive stock charts with a range select control that provides tools to zoom in and out on parts of the data as well as panning across the dataset.
  • Technical Indicators: Gincker Finance consists of over 50 technical indicators, ranging from overlap, momentum, volume, cycle, and volatility indicators. The stock charts, such as the bar and candlestick charts, can provide a lot of information about a market at a glance, but a technical indicator can put a number on those observations and confirm whether a market is strengthing/weakening or becoming overbought/oversold before it becomes evident on a stock chart.
  • Trading Strategies and Backtesting: Gincker Finance includes a powerful backtesting system and about 25 predefined trading strategies based on crossover for trend-following and zscore for mean reversion. By simply entering a stock ticker, specifying a time period and a bar type, and choosing a trading strategy from templates, Gincker Finance will automatically backtest your trading strategy and display various results on your screen, including P&L (profit and loss), number of trades, Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, etc.
  • Pricing Engines: Gincker Finance also implements a vartiety of pricing engines based on Quantlib, which allow you to pricing different asset types, including equity options and fixed income instruments, such as European options, American options, Bermudan options, barrier options, bonds, zero-coupon yield curves, repo, CDS, and interest rates.
